How to Start a Prüvit Business: A Beginner’s Guide for Women Over 50

Sometimes the best chapters in life are the ones you never planned.

For more than two decades, I built my career around interior design, construction, creativity, and helping people create spaces that reflected the way they wanted to live. I served as principal and lead designer of Destiny Homes from 2005 to 2017 before launching my own home studio and remodeling company, Elizabeth Grant Design LLC.

Interior design has always been a big part of who I am. I love listening to people, understanding their vision, solving problems, and helping turn an idea into something real.

But along the way, another passion started growing.

Wellness.

That passion eventually led me to start Ketone Living.

Today, Ketone Living allows me to share what I'm learning about healthy living, nutrition, ketones, aging well, and creating sustainable habits—especially with women over 50 who are entering a new chapter of their own.

And if you're wondering how to start a Prüvit business after 50, I want to share what I've learned from my journey.

From Designing Homes to Designing a Life I Love

On the surface, interior design and wellness might seem like completely different worlds.

For me, they're more connected than you might think.

As an interior designer, I've spent years helping people think about how they want to live.

How should this space function?

How should it feel?

What's important to the person living here?

What could we change to make everyday life better?

As I've gotten older, I've realized we can ask many of those same questions about ourselves.

  • How do I want to feel?

  • What do I want the next chapter of my life to look like?

  • What habits are helping me—and which ones aren't anymore?

  • What can I change today that might make tomorrow better?

That mindset is a big part of why I started Ketone Living.

It isn't about being perfect. It's about creating a lifestyle that works for the season of life you're in now.

Why I Started Ketone Living

Ketone Living grew from my own interest in wellness and my desire to share what I was learning.

As I explored nutrition, keto-friendly living, exogenous ketones, and healthier habits, I realized there were other women asking many of the same questions I was.

How do I stay healthy as I get older?

Why does my body feel different after 50?

How much protein should I be eating?

How do menopause and aging affect weight?

How can I maintain muscle?

What are ketones?

How can I make healthier choices without making food and fitness my entire life?

Those questions became the foundation for Ketone Living.

What began as my personal wellness journey grew into an opportunity to educate, connect, share recipes, talk about the things I'm learning, and introduce people to products that have become part of my own routine.

That includes Prüvit ketones.

You Don't Need a Wellness Background to Start

I didn't begin my professional life as a nutritionist, fitness trainer, or wellness professional.

I was an interior designer.

But I've learned that the skills we develop throughout our careers don't disappear when we try something new.

In design, I learned how to listen.

  • I learned how to ask questions.

  • I learned how to understand someone's needs instead of assuming I knew what was best for them.

  • I learned about presentation, communication, creativity, customer service, and building relationships.

  • Most importantly, I learned that what works beautifully for one person may not work for another.

  • I've carried all of that with me into Ketone Living.

That's one reason I believe women over 50 can be incredibly well positioned to start something new.

We're not starting from zero. We're starting with experience.

Step 1: Start With Your Own Story

If you're thinking about becoming a Prüvit promoter, don't start by worrying about how you're going to sell something.

  • Start with your story.

  • Why are you interested in ketones?

  • Why did you try them?

  • What are you learning about your health and wellness?

  • What does feeling good after 50 mean to you?

  • People connect with people.

I don't believe I need to promise someone that they'll have the same experience I have. I can simply share my journey, what I use, what I'm learning, and why certain things have become part of my routine.

Authenticity will take you much further than a sales pitch.

Step 2: Learn About What You're Sharing

If I'm going to talk about something, I want to understand it.

Prüvit offers exogenous ketone products. Exogenous simply means that the ketones come from outside the body.

That's different from the ketones your body produces during nutritional ketosis.

I think understanding those distinctions is important.

It's also important to know what a product doesn't do.

I don't believe in promising that ketones will cure a health condition, eliminate menopause symptoms, replace medications, or guarantee weight loss.

Ketones are one tool within my larger wellness lifestyle.

For me, the bigger picture always matters.

Step 3: Understand the Business

Loving a product doesn't automatically make it the right business opportunity for everyone.

Before becoming a Prüvit promoter, take time to understand the business.

Look at the current enrollment options, costs, policies, customer programs, compensation structure, income disclosures, and product and social-media guidelines.

Ask questions.

I want someone who comes to me interested in the business to understand what they're joining—not feel pressured into making a decision.

There are no guaranteed earnings in a direct-selling business. Building a customer base takes work, consistency, relationships, and time.

Treat it like a real business decision.

Step 4: Use the Skills You Already Have

One of the biggest things my own journey has taught me is this:

You don't have to abandon your first career to create your next one.

My interior design background is still part of me.

In fact, you can learn more about that side of my story through Elizabeth Grant Design.

The creativity I use in design helps me create content.

The listening skills I developed working with clients help me have better conversations.

My experience running a business helps me understand branding and customer relationships.

Your background can do the same thing for you.

Maybe you're a teacher, nurse, accountant, salesperson, business owner, stay-at-home mom, creative professional, or something completely different.

Ask yourself:

What am I already good at that I can bring into this business?

You might be surprised by how much you already know.

Step 5: Relationships Come Before Sales

This is another lesson I've carried with me from interior design.

I wouldn't walk into someone's home and immediately tell them exactly what they need without listening to them first.

I approach wellness conversations the same way.

Someone might be curious about ketones.

Someone else might want one of my keto recipes.

Another woman may have found Ketone Living because she's searching for information about menopause, protein, fiber, or weight maintenance.

That's okay.

Not every conversation needs to end in a sale.

I'd rather build relationships, answer questions, share what I'm learning, and allow people to decide what's right for them.

Step 6: Become a Resource

One of my goals with Ketone Living is to create something people want to follow even if they never purchase a product from me.

That's why I write about more than ketones.

I talk about protein after 50, fiber, menopause, healthy aging, strength training, sugar cravings, keto-friendly recipes, weight maintenance, GLP-1 medications, metabolism, sleep, stress, and movement.

These are conversations women are already having.

I want Ketone Living to be a place where we can have them together.

When you create genuinely useful content, you're building trust—not simply advertising.

Step 7: You Don't Have to Become an Influencer

You don't need 100,000 followers to start a Prüvit business.

You don't need perfect videos.

You don't need a perfect body.

And you definitely don't need a perfect life.

Share your real life.

I can share what I'm eating.

I can post a favorite recipe.

I can talk about something new I'm learning.

I can share how I incorporate ketones into my day.

I can talk about what wellness looks like for me at this stage of life.

That's much more meaningful to me than trying to become someone I'm not.

Step 8: Build Something Bigger Than a Product

This is especially important to me.

Ketone Living isn't simply about selling Prüvit.

It's about a lifestyle.

As I've grown Ketone Living, I've become increasingly focused on helping women over 50 think differently about wellness.

I want us to talk about:

Protein. Fiber. Muscle. Movement. Hydration. Sleep. Stress. Nutrition. Menopause. Healthy aging.

Prüvit ketones can be part of that conversation.

But they're one part.

My goal is to build a community around becoming stronger, healthier, more informed, and more confident about the next chapter of life.

Step 9: Give Yourself Realistic Goals

Starting a business is exciting, but I believe in being realistic.

I can't control how quickly a business grows.

I can control whether I show up.

I can write another helpful blog.

I can create another recipe.

I can answer someone's question.

I can learn more about the products.

I can post consistently.

I can connect with another woman.

Those small actions add up.

There is no guaranteed income from becoming a Prüvit promoter, and individual results vary. That's why I think it's important to focus on building something meaningful rather than chasing someone else's income story.

Step 10: Give Yourself Permission to Start Something New After 50

Maybe this is the part of my story I want women to hear most.

You are allowed to have another chapter.

I can be an interior designer and a wellness entrepreneur.

I can love creating beautiful homes and be passionate about healthy living.

Starting Ketone Living didn't erase my design career.

It gave me another place to use everything that career taught me.

And you can do the same.

Your experience isn't something you need to overcome before starting a business.

It's your foundation.

My Ketone Living Story Is Still Being Written

When I look at my journey from interior design to starting Ketone Living, I don't see two completely different careers.

I see growth.

For years, I've helped people envision what a home could become.

Ketone Living has given me an opportunity to think about something different:

What could the next chapter of our lives become?

If you're over 50 and thinking about starting something new, don't assume you're too late.

Take everything you've learned with you.

Be curious.

Keep learning.

Share your story.

Build genuine relationships.

And create something that feels like you.

If you're curious about Prüvit ketones or becoming a Prüvit promoter, I'd love to share more about my experience, answer your questions, and help you understand what getting started looks like.

There's no pressure—just an opportunity to learn more and decide whether it fits your lifestyle and goals.

Because after 50, I'm not interested in becoming someone completely different.

I'm interested in taking everything I've learned and using it to design what's next.

Disclosure: I have a business relationship with Prüvit. Individual product experiences and business results vary, and income is not guaranteed. Prüvit products are not a substitute for medical care or prescribed treatment. Anyone considering the business opportunity should review current official Prüvit costs, policies, compensation information, and income disclosures before joining.
